Project Return is a grant giving organisation which works primarily in Vietnam. Key objectives are to advance self-sufficiency through education and training and to improve health.
We're a small charity but with an understanding that well targeted contributions do not have to be large to be effective. Through local knowledge we make a significant difference to those who, because of lack of opportunity or ill health within their families, are finding it difficult to find a way out of poverty and a route to supporting themselves.
-
Education
Project Return runs a sponsorship scheme which supports children and young people through their education, from primary school all the way to university. Particular attention is paid towards families who have disabled members for whom we endeavour to meet any special needs. This can include for example equipment for those who are deaf or blind.
-
Infrastructure
Larger infrastructure projects can help lift whole communities out of poverty. Project Return has built medical clinics, improved schools and provided housing.

The Rural Economy
Helping families move from a subsistence level towards provision of food to the wider community is a key aim of Project Return. In one case we provided a new house to a widow and her sons. We helped them establish fish and rabbit breeding programs. She now has ample for her family needs and sells the excess to provide an income.
Where we work
Vietnam is a beautiful country which has now been at peace for 40 years.
Despite the great advancement of the economy, especially in the big cities, there is still much to be done in rural areas: this is where Project Return operates and can really make a difference.
In the towns we concentrate on supporting education and vocational training. Accommodation is provided for students from more rural areas whilst they are studying. Outside the towns we offer family-based support towards income generation and medical needs.
Through infrastructure, education and farming Project Return works where the need is greatest.
